Petition for 15K Tormentors armour.
I would like everyone who wants the 15K Tormentors armour to sign this petition. IMHO I don't understand why the all 15K armours were unique in the first instance. It makes little to no sense to me to pay 15K for an armour that is meant to be asthetically different when it isn't. Also is it true that any 15K you buy before an armour update will remain unchanged?
Thanks.

I agree that this should be changed... it seems as though Anet put updating this off until they completely forgot about it.

There are other major fixes and updates to this game that need to be done and are ahead of this and why it's on the back burner and not that necessary atm. Nothing more than a vanity fix here hardly something that's a big issue with most gamers.

I completely disagree with this since this feature should have been implemented in the first place, not after. Its not for vanities sake at all, its the fact that this armour and all other 15K armour should be different in appearance since this is the only feature that distinguishes it from other 1.5K armour types. If they don't look different and stats aren't different, which I don't think they should be because it goes against game core concepts then what is the point in their very existence and buying them in the first instance.

15k armor already purchased changes apperance to match the new design last i heard.
so if you already bought it when the new art finally comes it will upgrade.

It's already on the way, read the updates a few months back...
My friend CLAIMS he's seen the blueprints for the armor (his cousin works for A.Net). He says it's worth the wait, hey, he can't prove he's seen it so rumors are just rumors.

/signed I think the armor on a female is sexy.
And to whoever thinks it should be on the "backburner," a lot of people really DO care about asthetics... if they didn't, they wouldn't be buying 15k armor, or farming for ecto to (mainly) get fissure armor.

You go right ahead there and hold your breath. How many actual fixes to those major areas do you see being done? I've seen a few bandaids, and I've seen vanity fixes. And that's it.

I was arguing for principles sake. I understand that what I'm saying i.e. asking for 15K updates may be construed as being vain. However its more for the reason that the game feels incomplete with glaring omissions such as the lack of any difference between the 1.5K and the 15K armour sets.

Thanks!
The only reason I asked was because some people told me they brought 15K armours before their respective updates and found their armour did not change.

It isn't a huge issue, but I can see how the apparent waste of 15k and materials needs to be rectified, and should have been sooner, it is a status symbol, and while perhaps in vanity, as I like the 15k gladiator armor much more, was designed as an aesthetic money sink, and therefore is considered a status symbol. Luckily ANet has held off on a lot of "usable" money sinks, though I think skill costs need to be lowered, I mean I did just gain experience for them, it is a portion of the game that needs to be addressed. Modellers and texture artists /= Programmers just to note, there is not a huge time sink from ANet if a person simply has to load in the armor design differently after it is created.

/signed I know a lot of people waiting for it.
I wonder if they'd consider upgading the ones that are pretty plain, like hydromancer, which is just a reverse skin of the 1.5k They should continue to update them till they are all literally unique, like gladiators, necrotics, female druids, male Enchanters. I like those ones ^_^. But I digress, about things that are very long term.
give us tormentors!! ^_^

I was reading some of the frog dialogue recently and it seems tormentors is still on the back burner. So a fair few months in and still no updated armour. This should be rectified soon. If the 15K armours weren't completed in the first place, they should have been left out!!!

If you've got too much money and are being fussy over what you buy, there are always players who could use a few plats.
I know one very well, his IGN is Lord Ristaron. Give him a shout.
